About Steve Raminiak
As an attorney, Steve acts as a shrewd litigator, a compassionate advocate, and a trusted counselor.
As a volunteer, Steve serves on the Board of Directors of a local charity called Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS). Steve also donates time as a lecturer, mentor and pro bono lawyer for CVLS. Steve also contributes answers to LawGuru.com.
Steve can help you navigate through difficult circumstances by proposing cost-effective approaches to complicated issues.
Steve is also sensitive to the cost of legal services and provides flat fees for some matters, and can arrange payments from Estates under certain circumstances.
As of July 25, 2019, Illinois' Guardianship Training program is now online! If you have been appointed as a Guardian of the Person in any Illinois County except for Cook County, you must complete this training within one year of your appointment. Cook County Guardians are also strongly encouraged to complete this training. Learn more at: https://onenet.illinois.gov/guardianship.
On May 9, 2018, Steve gave an updated seminar called "Inventories and Accounts for Minors & Disabled Persons in Cook County, Illinois in 2018." The presentation, and all materials, are online and available for free. Attorneys may view the seminar for 1 hour of CLE credit. Guardians can watch this seminar to learn more about how lawyers develop Inventories and Accounts (also called "Accountings").
