On September 24, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., Steve will give a presentation titled "Introduction to Guardianship for Disabled Adults" which will be presented in conjunction with the Commission for Citizens with Disabilities of the Village of Arlington Heights. Mr. Raminiak will be available to answer questions regarding Guardianship for children with developmental disabilities who turn 18, seniors who develop dementia or other cognitive difficulties, and others who become mentally disabled for other reasons. This presentation shall be held at the Arlington Heights Senior Center, 1801 W. Central Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois. All are welcome, but registration is required. Since June 23, 2020, the Cook County Court's Probate Division has been coordinating Court appearances by the Zoom videoconference platform. While this shift was due to the pandemic, this Court has indicated that almost all Cook County Probate Court appearances will continue to be through Zoom for the foreseeable future.
